Today's Scripture: "My dear brothers and sisters, if someone among you wanders away from the truth and is brought back, you can be sure that whoever brings the sinner back from wandering will save that person from death and bring about the forgiveness of many sins." James 5:19-20, ESV 

Theme: The purpose of standing firmly against sin is ultimately to restore and return a brother or sister from death to life. 

Today's Scripture: “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” James 5:16, NLT 

Theme: Rather than condoning sins, confess them; rather than condemn each other, pray for each other. 

Today’s Scripture: “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness but instead expose them.” Ephesians 5:11, ESV 

Theme: Standing firm against sin means refusing to turn the other way or participate in dark or evil systems, organizations, or conversations. 

Today’s Scripture: "So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin." James 4:17, ESV  

Theme: Standing firm against sin starts with being honest and authentic in my own life and choices.  

Today's Scripture: “Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.” Colossians 3:14, NLT   

Theme: When managing the tension between judgment and love, remember to prioritize and first wrap yourself in love.
