Christmas At The Cove - Week 4

“Servant, Verses Master”

Message Recap

Jesus turned every expectation upside down. Instead of demanding service, He offered it freely. Instead of elevating Himself, He humbled Himself. Instead of claiming power, He laid it down. His greatness was found in His willingness to serve — and He invites us to follow in that same quiet strength.

Ice Breaker:

 • What’s the least glamorous job you have ever had?

 • What act of service do you enjoy providing for others?

Questions for the Heart:

 • Where is God inviting you to serve with humility this week?

 • How does Jesus’ example reshape the way you think about leadership?

The Arrival — A Reading on Joy

Scripture: Luke 2:8–14

A Gentle Reflection

The first announcement of Jesus’ birth didn’t go to rulers or scholars — it went to shepherds keeping watch under the quiet night sky. Heaven’s joy met them in an ordinary moment, reminding us that God delights in meeting us where we are.

Joy is not dependent on the pace of our season or the perfection of our plans. It blooms in the awareness that God has drawn near. In the middle of routines, responsibilities, and the everyday rhythm of life, joy whispers: “You are not alone.”

Questions for Reflection:

 • Where have you sensed a quiet joy recently?

 • How does the shepherds’ story help you see God in ordinary moments?

 • What simple practice could help you make room for joy this week?

 • Share one practical act of kindness that you can do this week.
