Theme: It is good to talk about how to love people; however, it is better to take action to show our love for people hurting and needy.

Wednesday - AN ACCEPTABLE FAST

Today's Scripture: “Is it to bow down his head like a reed, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? Will you call this a fast, and a day acceptable to the Lord? ‘Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?’” Isaiah 58:5b-6, ESV  

Theme: Sitting and mourning at home isn’t all that God desires from us; He wants us to exit the building, loose bonds, undo binding straps, and free the oppressed.
