Today’s Scripture: “For this is what the promise said: ‘About this time next year I will return, and Sarah shall have a son.’” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭9‬:‭9‬, ‭ESV‬‬ 

Theme: God is unchanging. Rather than bending to our suggestions, He uses flawed people like Abraham and Sarah to accomplish His will anyway. 

Today’s Scripture: “And Sarai said to Abram, 'Behold now, the Lord has prevented me from bearing children. Go in to my servant; it may be that I shall obtain children by her.' And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai.” Genesis 16:2, ESV 

Theme: Sometimes we are like Abram and Sarai who made and followed their own flawed plan. 

Today’s Scripture: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” Jeremiah 29:11, NIV 

Theme: God has a plan for His children’s future, even if it doesn't feel that way because of today’s pain. 

Today’s Scripture: “Bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2, ESV 

Theme: Healing is a journey of shared strength, hope, and support from family, friends, and community who help to bear our burdens in time of need. 

Today’s Scripture: “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will be crowned with life, which God has promised to those who love Him.” James 1:12, BSB 

Theme: Persevering through challenges provides opportunity for spiritual growth and fosters intimacy with God as we learn to trust Him.
