Today’s Scripture: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23, ESV

Theme: There is no doubt that we are all sinners. Though it may seem impossible to be reconciled with God, Jesus has made a way.

Today’s Scripture: “And he who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’ Also he said, ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.’” Revelation 21:5, ESV

Theme: We were not promised peace on Earth and will not completely experience that Jesus returns. In the new Jerusalem, God will make all things new.

Today’s Scripture: “This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:3-4, ESV

Theme: Lasting peace will come when people meet Jesus and choose Him as Lord; He is our peace.

Today’s Scripture: “For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?” Matthew 5:46, ESV

Theme: To promote peace and follow Jesus, love all parties, even when you think one is wrong. Innocent lives are lost in every conflict.

Today’s Scripture: “But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Matthew 5:44, ESV

Theme: When you pray for peace, pray for both sides. Because Jesus said pray for enemies, we can pray for everyone, from allies to enemies.
