Daily Devotions

Today’s Scripture: “But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?” Romans 10:14, NLT  

Theme: We “talk up” things we are passionate about. Get excited to invite people to meet Jesus!   

Today’s Scripture: “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:13, NLT  

Theme: All people will be saved when they call on Jesus. 

Today’s Scripture: “They asked, ‘Who healed you? What happened?’ He told them, ‘The man they call Jesus made mud and spread it over my eyes and told me, “Go to the pool of Siloam and wash yourself.” So I went and washed, and now I can see!”’ John 9:10-11, NLT  

Theme: Use your experiences to connect with others and share the love and salvation of Christ.  

NO SOLICITING:

We all hate it. We divert or block spam calls and put “no soliciting” signs in the front yard or business window. I challenge you to view inviting someone to church as the gift that it is, instead of an unwelcomed “pitch.” 

Today’s Scripture: “For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.” Matthew 25:29, ESV 

Theme: The more you seek to understand God, the more He will give to you. Those who don’t seek God will lose the little they have.
