Thank you for your willingness to serve your community by joining The Cove All Out Serving Team. We will send out emails with requests that need to be met in your community as they come in to The Cove Outreach Team. If you decided that you would like to help meet that need, please reply to those emails letting us know! Once a need is assigned to you, our team leaders will communicate with you and support you through the process of meeting the need!
Please review this entire form, check the boxes when applicable, and submit it. You will then be redirected to the All Out website to learn more about what it means to go All Out! You will also receive a confirmation email with the "Best News Ever" booklet that you can use as a guideline to help you as you share Christ's love with those you meet while going All Out! In addition to the booklet, you will receive a copy of the "7 Best Practices” document as a reminder to use when meeting needs in your community.

7 Best Practices
1. As part of The Cove Church and our Acts 2 Vision of meeting needs of others, be prayed up before you contact the individual. We are meeting the physical need, as well as the spiritual need. Seeking God’s guidance is important and necessary. Please refer to this attachment, The Best News Ever, to help you share the Gospel.
Action Step: Please pray prior to arrival. Read the attached booklet “The Best News Ever”.
2. Please use your email as your initial contact to open the lines of communication. Be aware that when you share your personal information, phone number, email, etc. there will always be a risk of further communication past meeting this need.
Action Step: When communicating with those you serve, only use email.
3. A great rule of ministry is, ‘never do ministry alone’. It is a requirement that you secure a commitment from a friend or family member to join you when meeting this need. This is important for two reasons while meeting this need. You are a model of generosity and servanthood. Safety is always a high priority. Please be aware and careful if you are going to someone's home.
Action Step: Have a friend sign up to serve as well! Copy this link and send: rock.covechurch.org/sbyalloutteam
4. When meeting a need, please be aware there may be multiple needs this individual or family currently has. It is not our expectation for you to meet additional needs at this time. The very best way to meet those additional needs is to redirect the family back to the All Out website.
Action Step: Memorize URL and be prepared to share it if necessary.
5. When meeting a specific need, do not give money. Money does not always solve a problem. Thank you for your heart of generosity. The very best way to help a family in need is to redirect them back to the All Out website. We have individuals who are committed to meeting financial needs. Many hands make light work.
Action Step: Memorize URL and be prepared to share it if necessary.
6. Trust your intuition. Upon arrival, should you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, know that the church will look for alternative ways to meet the need. Your safety is paramount.
Action Step: Survey your surroundings and determine your safety. Choose to reschedule or review the need with Cove Staff.
7. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus. You are serving this family with humility and preserving their dignity through your confidentiality. This honors God.
Action Step: Do not share confidential information with others or disclose personal information on Social Media. Do not share confidential information with others or disclose personal information on Social Media. If you are taking pictures of the family or the work you've completed, please ask for permission. You can upload your stories and experiences by going to covechurch.org/allout or by emailing allout2025@covechurch.org.
In general, compassion and generosity are wonderful ways to understand and meet a need. Our church is doing just that through you and many others. Please understand, you are not doing it alone. When confronted with questions and challenges, it is best to reflect on this guidance. If you have any concerns or questions, please reach out to alloutteam@covechurch.org!
