This weekend we had the privilege of having Joe Sangl sharing with us. He shared how most of us are going through life with no protective wall. Just like the remnant of Jews in Jerusalem were living with broken down walls and no protection. Together we will look at what God’s Word says about our finances.

We start off a brand-new series this week called Magnify. Many times, in life when things are going well, we have all we need, and extra in the bank we tend to forget about God and trust these things. This is what happened to the Israelites in the Old Testament. They had been wandering around the desert for 40 years, having to trust God completely for their daily needs. As they are about to enter the promised land, flowing with milk and honey, they are reminded to be careful to not forget their God.

Well friends, you did it! You read the whole book of Romans. As we conclude our discussion with the last two chapters, we see the Jews and Gentiles arguing. The Jews continued to uphold their laws, while the Gentiles argued that these laws no longer applied. These types of disputes can cause division in our homes, relationships, and the Church. Paul speaks to the Jews and Gentiles over these disputable matters.

How are you doing with the Romans' journey? God’s word is alive and active and has the power to transform us. Don’t give up, it’s worth the effort. This week our focus was on Romans 12-14. Paul provides us with practical guidance for living out our faith-encouraging us to use our gifts for God and others, how we deal with authority, and pursue peace with one another.

Romans chapters 9-11 is the next stop on our adventure in this series. Paul addresses the conflicts between the Jews and Gentiles, focusing on issues of entitlement and disagreements over the right way to do things. Romans can be intense and hard to understand, but God knows our hearts. Be honest with God about your thoughts, feelings, and struggles to understand as you read His Word. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and guidance. We can be thankful that we serve a God that is bigger than us, wiser, and knows all things.

This weekend in Romans we discussed chapters 7-8. Paul teaches us about our struggle between our old flesh nature and new nature in Christ. Let’s dive in together and see why we still seem to fall into our old ways so often and how Christ solves that problem for us.

We all have different experiences with reading the Bible. We hope that through this series you can find the way you most enjoy spending time in God’s Word. Try different versions and find the one that makes sense to you. This week we explored Romans 4, 5, and 6. Paul takes us back to the story of Abraham and his great faith in believing that God would do what he promised even when it seemed impossible.

We are starting a brand-new series this week where we will dive into the book of Romans. We want to show and encourage you that God’s word is all we need. Through this study, we will explore the profound truths that Paul shares and how they apply to our lives today. Let's prepare our hearts and minds to be transformed by His Word.

Pastors Sergey and Natasha are living in Israel where living in war is the norm. During violence and chaos, they choose to find strength and joy. Finding their hope in Christ allows them to be a light to the community. We can be encouraged by their faithfulness to trust in God through the difficult seasons of our lives.

In a world filled with hate, bitterness, and chaos, there is still something bigger that has the power to change us. That is the love of Jesus Christ! His love can change lives and unite people even in chaos. This weekend we watched a movie called Woodlawn. A true story about a football team in Birmingham Alabama in 1973, when racial tension was at an all-time high. When one man dared to share the love of Christ, it showed the power of love and brought the miracle of unity.
