This weekend the campus pastors introduced us to another name for God, Jehovah Mekoddishkem. (Try saying that ten times fast!) This name means “The Lord who sanctifies” or “The Lord who makes holy”. Each of Gods names reveals something wonderful about His character and how He works in our lives when we invite Him in. This week let’s examine the lifelong process of sanctification and what that looks like.

This weekend we explored the name Jehovah Jireh. Another name of God reminding us that he will provide for us. The story of Abraham and Isaac shows us a humbling experience of God providing for His people. We hope to encourage you this Christmas season as we discover the mighty names of our God. Each one will reveal a different aspect of His character and love for us.

Here we are approaching the wonderful Christmas season. Over the next few weeks, we will be diving into the different names of God. This weekend we looked at how God is a Jealous God and deserves our worship and trust completely.

Sharing our faith can be challenging for many of us. We don’t want to come across as pushy or awkward, so we often hold back. This weekend, we talked about Jesus’ command to go and make disciples, and we explored some practical ways to share our faith with others in a natural and meaningful way.

We have come to the end of “The Great Campaign” series and what a ride it has been. Our prayer is that you allow God’s word to shape both your faith and your perspective on politics, as well as every other aspect of your life. In this final week, let’s turn to God’s Word to discover where our true citizenship lies.

Should Christians vote? Which candidate is morally better? Should I vote based on character? Should I vote based on laws and morals? So much to think about. Here is the main question, is my faith shaping my vote? It is not our vote that should shape our faith. As you start discussion let’s be the church of Christ and show our friends the respect and love of Christ.

So many people, opinions, thoughts, views, and ideas! What is the Church’s role in politics? We know that God has called us to stay united by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Join us as we look at what the Word of God says about these difficult matters. Ask God to help you be a person that creates unity within your sphere of influence.

When we look at all the chaos around us, we can become fearful, angry or depressed. How in the world do we navigate these crazy times with politics, news, unexpected events, and the things that are happening around us? We will be starting a series called “The Great Campaign” to help us see what God’s Word says about leaders of this world. As we dive in, we will agree to keep it safe and respectful with our Life Group friends.

Many of us have probably wondered why bad things happen. Just like the tragedy in the mountains. We question why God would allow such devastation. This weekend in the message, this topic is explored through the lens of God’s Word.

As we finish up our series on Magnify, we want to challenge, encourage and show you how to manage your finances God’s way. The Scriptures have a lot to say about managing our finances. Probably the most consistent theme on money is handling it with wisdom. We pray as you have heard this series that you would seek God, magnify His name, and use wisdom in all your ways.
