Daily Devotions

Today's Scripture: “So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace. But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.” Romans 11:5-6, ESV   

Theme: Every believer is chosen, yet none deserves to be selected – it's through grace for all of us.   

Today's Scripture: “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’” Romans 10:14-15, ESV 

Theme: All believers are called to “go” and share the Good News until the whole world hears. 

Today's Scripture: “For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.” Romans 10:10, ESV   

Theme: Belief in God and confession of faith are both necessary in order to be saved.    

Today’s Scripture: “But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, 'Why have you made me like this?' Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use?” Romans 9:20-21, ESV 

Theme: While God often mercifully entertains our questions, do we really expect the Creator to explain Himself to us? 

Today's Scripture: “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? .... No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:31,37, ESV  

Theme: God fights for us; His love conquers all things.
