Theme: We were created for relationships, and a relationship with God in particular.

Today's Scripture: “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand” 1 Chronicles 29:14, ESV

Theme: A living, active faith is generous, recognizing God as the Provider.

Today's Scripture: “So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” James 2:17, ESV

Theme: Dead faith produces no good works or “fruit.”

Today’s Scripture: “Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.” James 2:18-19, NIV

Theme: Believing in God without loving God isn’t enough.
