Daily Devotions

Today's Scripture: “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people...” Ephesians 1:17-18, NIV 

Theme: Pray for yourself and for others, that they would grow in the knowledge of God. 

Today’s Scripture: “O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.” Psalm 63:1, ESV 

Theme: As believers, we should continually be growing in our passionate desire to know God intimately. 

Today's Scripture: “But now that you know God—or rather are known by God—how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?’ Galatians 4:9, NIV 

Theme: If we don’t prioritize knowing God and His Word, we will fall away and be less than He intended. 

Today’s Scripture: “They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him.” Titus 1:16a, NIV 

Theme: Our actions do not save us, but they show that we are saved.   

Today’s Scripture: “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.” James 2:19, NIV 

Theme: A person can know about God, yet not believe in Him.
