Daily Devotions

Today's Scripture: “But the Lord answered her, ‘Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.’” Luke 10:41-42, ESV  

Theme: Prioritizing doesn’t always mean choosing good over bad. More often, it is choosing between good and best. 

Today’s Scripture: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33, ESV  

Theme: Everyone gets the same 24 hours in a day. It’s really not a time problem; it’s an issue of priorities.  

Today’s Scripture: “Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16, ESV 

Theme: Since time is limited, Paul instructs us to carefully use our time. 

Today's Scripture: “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:7, ESV 

Theme: A commitment to keep on loving, hoping, and believing in your relationships all go a long way towards their health. 

Today’s Scripture: “A tranquil heart gives life to the flesh,  

  but envy makes the bones rot.” Proverbs 14:30, ESV  

Theme: Rejoice and celebrate for others; do not let envy and jealousy poison your relationships.
