Theme: Obey and appreciate your parents because you are obedient to God first.

Today's Scripture: “Better is a dinner of herbs where love is than a fattened ox and hatred with it.” Proverbs 15:17, ESV

Theme: It’s worth fighting to maintain a loving home even at the expense of affluence or worldly respect.

Today's Scripture: “But if you do marry, you have not sinned, and if a betrothed woman marries, she has not sinned. Yet those who marry will have worldly troubles, and I would spare you that.” 1 Corinthians 7:28, ESV

Theme: Marriage isn’t easy. It will require effort and sacrifice to maintain and repair even the best relationship.

Today's Scripture: “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” Genesis 2:24, ESV

Theme: Prioritize your spouse, encourage your children to learn this as they marry .Allow marriage to modify the way you relate to your family of origin. 

Today’s Scripture: “Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.” Hebrews 13:4, ESV 

Theme: Honor marriages: don’t cheat on your spouse or with someone else’s spouse. You can’t control your partner or someone else’s, but you can control yourself.
