Today's Scripture: “But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” Matthew 5:44-45, ESV

Theme: Jesus teaches us to love and pray for everyone, even our enemies, following His example and as a witness to the world.

Today’s Scripture: “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV

Theme: “Weeding” and judging is not our role; our job is to encourage each other and give life.

Today's Scripture: “Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, ‘Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.’” Matthew 13:30, ESV

Theme: God will judge in the end; we are to encourage, build up, and pray for people now.

Today’s Scripture: “He put another parable before them, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also.’” Matthew 13:24-26, ESV

Theme: Jesus teaches us about the complexity of evil in a world that also contains elements of His Kingdom.

Today’s Scripture: “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.” Lu ke 16:10, ESV
