Theme: We know God is in control and that He is good. Will you choose to relinquish control like Jesus did, even if there is a cost?

Today’s Scripture: “But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:21-23, ESV

Theme: God’s character is good; He is merciful and all-powerful. We don’t need to control everything because we can trust Him.

Today's Scripture: “Therefore it says, ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.’” James 4:6b, ESV

Theme: Desire for control can stem from sinful pride; choose to become humble, let go, and receive grace.

Today’s Scripture: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6, ESV

Theme: Trust God, not your own ability to control. He will show you the right path to take.
